Fascinating. But women servers would have made sure that back cloth on the raised bit was equidistant and not longer at the left side. It would drive me nuts looking at it!
Which is why we need to keep women completely out of the sanctuary. They keep adjusting us! And they pout!
If one is going to have a Tridentine altar, methinks one should learn the correct number of office lights and the correct order in which one should light them. And by "correct," I mean according to the usage of Ritual Notes, which was -- as we all know -- based on the personal notes of Our Saviour's sacristan.
